Prototype Source was founded in 1985 to provide prototype vehicles and components to the automotive design community in Southern California. Our client list has grown to include General Motors, Audi of America, Volkswagen of America, Universal Studios, Design Works (BMW), Chrysler Pacifica, Volvo, and Raytheon to name just a few. In 1992 a development program on the Oscar Mayer "Wienermobile" inspired expansion in our services to include design and fabrication of vehicles for Product Promotion and Corporate Identity.
