Prototype Source was founded in 1985 to provide prototype vehicle and component production for the automotive design community.  Our client list includes Audi, BMW, GM, Volkswagen, Chrysler and Volvo.

An opportunity to work on the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile turned into such a fun project, we were inspired to expand our services to include design and fabrication of vehicles for product promotion and corporate identity.  In time, we became the go-to guys for productmobiles, and have created such crowd-pleasers as the Hershey’s Kissmobile, Planters Nutmobile, Kellogg’s Tonymobile, and the Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, to name a few.
